Mulberry Spring/Summer 2013

Effortlessly chic, girly with a hint of androgyny - Mulberry!

The Spring/Summer 2013 show (WATCH IT!!!) took place at London's Claridges (where else?!), and it felt as if you had walked into an English country garden, as the scene burst with fresh roses and candy colored gnomes - Mulberry's Creative Director Emma Hill has truly emphasized the quintessentially British mood on her catwalk.

With models parading soft leathers, navies, mints, golds, dogs, the new Willow bag, Mulberry showed us exactly why we keep coming back for more. Season after season, Del Rey, after Alexa, after Bayswater.

I feel a bit sentimental about Mulberry - Bayswater in black was my first designer bag I got given at the age of 13! I rocked it, I still rock it, though in a variety of colors and sizes!

The thing with Mulberry is that it really highlights effortless elegance, bringing the two alter-egos together in one - girliness and androgyny. I'm a Gemini, I would know, having been struggling to find the perfect balance with both - I mean, no one wants to look like a Barbie, yet no one wants to look like a goth circa Marilyn Manson now.

Oh, and I'm a massive dog lover as well, and just well my dogs love Mulberry too!!

So, here are a few looks to invest in:

It's girly - but not too girly. It's navy, and white, and it has flowers on it and its totally chic!

Birthday breakfast outfit...

This looks like a very comfortable and practical outfit for flying. I fly a lot. Especially to Russia. And arriving in Moscow looking less than 100% chic is totally unacceptable and very disrespectful to the county and its citizens if you do so.

Meet your BF's parents...

OK, as much as poodle is a bit too much for my apartment, nonetheless this is chic. This poodle is chic. And the shorts and the coat are chic. And the slightly seventies looking ensemble is chic. And mint seems to be everywhere now, so it must be becoming chic.

I just really really really like this setting.
