Margiela for H&M

Never have I ever been so excited to see H&M collaborate with a designer. At the time of Lanvin I called into work and said my pipes have burst; Versace brought a food-poisoning plague to my house; Marni is when I allegedly got burgled - I'm surprised a) my boss hadn't caught onto my excuses miraculasly correlating with new laucnches at H&M b) I hadn't been fired...Sadly during Anna Dello Russo's turn I was helping orphans in Romania (so fulfilling, you should try it one day). But this is the collaboration I cannot miss...

The most mysterious fashion house ever, Maison Martin Margiela is hitting H&M on November 15th (and I have my tent and my flask full of black coffee/gin ready). This not only appeals to me because these are the clothes I can wear everyday, and they will never go out of style, because they are just so versatile, simple, chic..but also because no one actually knows the identity of the genius who founded the brand in the first place...He actually left the brand in 2009, leaving behind the sharp tailoring, out-there silhouettes and  four visible stitches on the back of a neckline to mark its ownership.
This mystery makes the brand so appealing...the founder must have been a Gemini, because all the great ones were clearly Geminis.

Anyway, these are the pieces which will be in my walk-in for years to come - even though I probably won't wear them after the festive season, they will be ever-so-proudly displayed in the H&M Designer Collaboration quarters of my apartment.
