Once again Christopher Bailey blew me away and added another
100s of items to my already extensive S/S 2013 shopping list/must-haves/life or
death situation.
Being a great pioneer of British brands/designers/fashion in general, I have always been a sucker for Burberry, but this season Bailey combined all of my favorite things into one epic/totally chic/totally breathtaking (as always) show!
From the first model on that glorious catwalk the theme was set: RUCHING!!! Of everything!!! Dresses, jackets, swimsuits. He combined metallics and laces and feathers and leathers and satins...WOW!
I mean, you've seen the show (if not a) You've hugely missed out - bad luck! b) WATCH IT HERE!!!)
Please please please, when watching the show pay attention to the finale - the colour scheme - as it SHOULD be your guiding star, your light at the end of the tunnel, your Yoko Ono, in choosing your colors for S/S2013. Let me break it down for you - ombred orchid, emerald and sapphire - ARE A MUST!
Here are mine top looks/shopping list must-haves/pre-ordered them already:
Sophisticated yet Playful
Nice outfit for a boat-ride in Hyde Park followed by lunch at Harvey Nichols' 5th Floor
First date outfit - kinda says: I'm not a slut, but I'm not a
virgin either...
Third date outfit - I'm as slutty as you'd want your future wife
to be...
Totally suitable
for attending a gallery opening
Job Interview
OK. Now, this is the most beautiful coat I have ever seen in my
entire life. This can only be used to surprise your French boyfriend, when you
turn up to his house unannounced. (the elements of surprise are a) arriving
unannounced/uninvited b) wearing NOTHING under that coat except Agent Provocateur lingerie)
YOU'RE WELCOME!!!
